IND vs WI 3rd T20I: In the final match of the 3-match T20I series between India and West Indies being played at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, Windies skipper Kieron Pollard won the toss & opted to bowl first, and Caribbean bowlers tried their best to justify their captain's decision. In the 4th over of the Indian batting, Ishan Kishan and Shreyas Iyer were in the middle batting for team India. West Indies' bowler Romario Shepherd was bowling the over. Ishan Kishan targeted Shepherd and had made up his mind that he'd smash boundaries in this over, and smacked fours consecutively on the 2nd and 3rd deliveries. Kishan didn't stop with this and smacked a four on the 5th delivery as well. However, Shepherd was able to bowl 3 dot balls in the over and gave only 12 runs in the over.

It is noteworthy that Romario Shepherd was bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad at a price of Rs. 7.75 crores in the recent IPL auction, and hence will have increased attention on him. On the other hand, Ishan Kishan scored 34 runs with 5 fours and hasn't looked his usual aggressive self which can be a concern for the Indian team.

Nonetheless, India already has an unassailable lead of 2-0 in the 3-match T20I series and the Indian team would look to win the 3rd T20I and whitewash the Caribbean team. After being put in to bat first, team India posted 184/5 in 20 overs with a fabulous batting display from Suryakumar Yadav and Venkatesh Iyer. Sky scored 65* runs off 31 balls with 1 four and 7 sixes while Venkatesh Iyer also played an unbeaten knock of 35 runs in 19 balls with 4 fours and 2 sixes.
