PBKS vs RR IPL 2022: Rajasthan Royals' opening batter Jos Buttler has been in tremendous form this season. In the match against Punjab Kings on 7th May (Saturday), Buttler scored a quick knock of 30 runs in 16 deliveries with 5 fours and a six. Amidst this, the opener smacked Kagiso Rabada for 20 runs in the 4th over of the innings. However, on the last delivery, the South African pacer completed his revenge as he dismissed Buttler and sent him back to the pavilion.

On the first delivery of this over, Buttler smacked a six over deep mid-wicket. On the next delivery, Buttler followed it with a maximum over extra cover and a four to the right of fine leg on the next one. Buttler took ran a double on the 4th delivery and the 5th delivery was sent for a four towards the sightscreen. Even after smashing 20 runs in the first 5 deliveries, Buttler didn't stop and tried playing a shot on the last delivery.

Buttler went for a lap shot on the last delivery which landed outside the off stump line. However, the Orange Cap holder managed a mere inside edge and the ball went straight for a catch to Bhanuka Rajapaksa, fielding at third man. Rajapaksa leapt into the air to complete a good catch and dismiss dangerous-looking Jos Buttler.

It is noteworthy that Buttler has maintained an average of 61.80 in this season, and has scored 618 runs, including 3 centuries and 3 half-centuries. The English batter also became the first-ever batter for Rajasthan Royals to score more than 600 runs in a single season.
