WATCH: KL Rahul-Suryakumar Yadav Involved In A Terrible Mix-up

India vs West Indies, 2nd ODI: KL Rahul run out today.

India vs West Indies, 2nd ODI: It has been an interesting day for the Indian team with a lot of new things happening right from the start of the 2nd ODI. One major thing was Rishabh Pant opening the innings and KL Rahul going back in the middle order. 

However, the top order couldn't fire as India got reduced to 43/3 in 12 overs. KL Rahul and Suryakumar Yadav began rebuilding the innings and added 90 runs for the fourth wicket. 

It seemed that India had got back into the rhythm with KL Rahul scoring at a good rate to get the team to a competitive total. However, another weird thing happened for India in the 30th over. 

Rahul, on 48, drove the ball through covers and found an opportunity to get two runs. He ran the first run quickly and turned for the second. Suryakumar, too, ran well and turned for the second. 

However, Rahul stopped midway through the pitch for a moment and again started running. However, he couldn't get in the crease and was run out.

Rahul's reaction was interesting as well. He instantly turned towards Suryakumar and was very animated. He returned to the pavilion looking angry but it is still unclear as to why was he animated towards his partner.
