This incident was witnessed in the ongoing County Division - 1 match between Northamptonshire and Surrey. When Surrey were at 400 runs at a loss of 8 wickets, Tom Curran tried to play a big shot against Williams over mid-off. 

However, the shot didn't connect well enough and the ball went into the air, staying in the air for a long time. Placed inside the 30-yard circle, Luke Proctor chased the ball in the air and without giving up hope kept sprinting and finally when he dived in the air and landed, the ball was in his hands.
