Michael Vaughan is well-known for his comments and straightforward takes on the ongoings of the cricket world. While on most occasions he faces trolls and criticism for his views but Vaughan is still regarded as one of the best batters of his generation. The former England captain knows the technicalities and game sense.

However, England had a poor start as they lost three 3/46 inside 17 overs. Bairstow came out at number and began to counter-attack during which he scored three boundaries. However, his 15-ball 16-run inning was cut short by Kyle Jamieson.
Jamieson had been bowling for a while now and was into his last over of a long eight-over spell. The 20th over was also the last over before the drinks. Michael Vaughan was live on air at that and kept saying that Bairstow shouldn't take any risk on the last ball and that Jamieson is tired now.
“I reckon Joe is saying to Jonny, 'Look, he's got one ball left. Just see him out of the attack. Don't risk too much,” Vaughan said just before the last ball of the over.
However, Jamieson lured Bairstow for a drive and the England batter took the bait. The ball nipped back in and thrashed into the stumps as Jamieson jumped in joy and England's troubles continued further with the score reading 69/4 in 20 overs.
When Bairstow got out, Vaughan shooked his head in disbelief and said, “I'm sorry (but) that is dumb. That is pathetic.”
