WATCH: Tim Seifert's Fighting 100 In Vain As Sussex Still Fall Short By 22 Runs
Tim Seifert struck his 2nd T20 century in just 55 balls but Sussex still couldn't chase the target.
New Zealand's hard-hitting wicketkeeper batter, Tim Seifert, struck a powerful century in the T20 Blast on Saturday that went in vain as his team, Sussex, still fell short by 22 runs of Hampshire's set total.
While opening the inning, Seifert struck his second T20 century in just 55 balls that included nine fours and five sixes even then he couldn't take Sussex over the line as he didn't get any support from the rest of his batting lineup.

The highest Seifert added was 69 runs in 34 balls for the fifth wicket with Delray Rawlins, who scored 31 runs in 20 balls. But the two never really had the required run rate in control as the game was already more or less lost in the first 10 overs when Sussex's score read 61/4 in 10.4 overs.
Seifert kept attacking but the lack of support cost them the game. The Kiwi decided to have some fun and reached his century in the last over of the inning with three sixes in a row off Scott Currie.
