Ranji Trophy: India's most prestigious domestic tournament, the Ranji Trophy made its return after two years, much to the joy of the youngsters. India's U19 World Cup-winning captain, Yash Dhull made full use of this opportunity as he smacked a ton on his Ranji Trophy debut.
In the ongoing Group H match between Delhi and Tamil Nadu, Tamil Nadu won the toss and opted to field first. Yash Dhull opened the innings and was unsurprisingly comfortable at the crease, and scored a ton in his maiden Ranji innings off just 133 balls.

When Yash Dhull was batting on 97, he was dismissed by the 30-year old M Mohammad. However, the ball was adjudged as a 'no ball' and the batter went on to score complete his ton. Yash Dhull scored 113 runs off 150 balls with 18 fours before he was LBW dismissed by M Mohammad.
Earlier, Yash Dhull led U19 Indian team to a record 5th title in the U19 World Cup, defeating England in the finals. In the recently concluded IPL 2022 Auction, Delhi Capitals went on with their strategy of always buying the U19 World Cup-winning captain, and acquired Yash Dhull for a sum of Rs 50 lakhs.
