Slow balls have a variety and one such variety is the knuckleball. It is the ball that a bowler delivers from his knuckles. A perfect knuckleball makes the batter see it coming with the seam but with no revs on it. There is no pace on the ball and if the batter doesn't adjust to it early, he won't be able to hit it with timing.

Just when the knuckleball was being picked and mastered by bowlers, a new type of knuckleball is slowly getting into the scene - the swinging knuckleball.

During the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) vs Gujarat Titans (GT) match, Varun Aaron displayed a variant of knuckleball that swings. Aaron bowled it to Evin Lewis which didn't make much of a difference but it was an interesting skill to see from the fast bowler.

However, this isn't the first Aaron has bowled the swinging knuckleball. In 2019 as well, while playing for Rajasthan Royals(RR), Aaron got Shubman Gill out with an in-swinging knuckleball.
