Virat Kohli hasn't been in the best of forms lately. Kohli hasn't got to his 71st international hundred in more than two years now. Even if he denies it, but Kohli would want to score big as soon as possible just his fans hope. 

The Indian captain missed the 2nd test against South Africa due to a back spasm and he himself said ahead of the 3rd test that he felt 'guilty' for missing out on the game because of the spasm picked on the morning of the match. 

In this test, Kohli looked into the game right when he was sitting in the dressing room waiting for his chance to bat. When KL Rahul got out, Kohli was ready with his helmet on and bat in his hand. 

He was standing in the dressing room, shadow batting. It seemed that his dismissals around the off stump have in his mind when he was practicing. He mostly played the off-side shots. 

Interestingly, just when he was getting into the zone, Mayank Agarwal got out and he had to come down to take the guard.
