WATCH: West Indian Players Field With The Masks On During 3rd ODI vs Pakistan
Dust Storm in Multan caused West Indian players to wear masks while fielding.
Masks have now become mandatory to wear in the public ever since the beginning of the global pandemic that hit in 2020. When the sports began, the players had to be in bio-bubble and follow covid-protocols throughout including wearing masks all the time when not on the field.
The protocols have now eased down after two years and most of the tours are happening without the players being in a bio-bubble. However, even then, during Pakistan vs West Indies 3rd ODI at Multan, the visitors were seen wearing masks while fielding.

The delay also reduced the match to a 48-over-per-side game. Pakistan scored 269/9 courtesy of Shadab Khan's timely knock of 86 runs after Nicholas Pooran picked four wickets to wreck the top order with his part-time spin. West Indies couldn't chase down the 270-run target and got bowled out for 216 and lost the three-match ODI series 3-0.
