ENG vs IND 2nd ODI: Jonny Bairstow has been in tremendous form since England's 3-0 clean sweep in test series against New Zealand. In the ODI series against India, Bairstow failed to perform with the bat and scored just 7 runs. However, the explosive batter looked in good touch in the 2nd ODI with 6 boundaries but was finally cleaned up by master spinner Yuzvendra Chahal.

After getting bowled out for 110 in the first ODI, the English batters needed to make a comeback to level the score and keep the 3-match ODI series alive, alongwith Jason Roy (23), Jonny Bairstow added 41 runs for the opening wicket.

In the 9th over, Hardik Pandya dismissed Jason Roy and provided the opening breakthrough for his team. However, in form batters, Jonny Bairstow and Joe Root held the crease as these two added 31 runs for the second wicket, and looked strong in taking England to a winning total.

Yuzvendra Chahal was bowling the 15th over of the innings and dazzled the batter on the 4th delivery. Chahal tossed the delivery up and outside leg. Bairstow went for a big slog sweep and missed, the ball went on to hit the stumps. The explosive English opener was dismissed after scoring 38 runs in 38 balls with 6 fours.
