“Our arrangements are going smoothly, and the cooperation from stakeholders have been exceptional so far,” said Kishore Shallow President of the St.Vincent and the Grenadines Cricket Association (SVGCA).

“An international fixture brings great benefits to the country, particularly in the area of marketing, and we must do everything within our power, to maximize this event,” he added.

In an effort to promote youth interest in the sport SVGCA has asked the Ministry of Education, to allow secondary school students to witness the test match between Windies and Bangladesh.

In 2009, Bangladesh beat an under strength West Indies team at Arnos Vale, to record their first test victory against the home side.
