Zimbabwe batters have failed to present any challenge in front of the Indian bowlers, as they weren't able to cross the 200 run-mark or play out the full 50-overs in both the ODIs. None of the batters were able to cross 40 runs in the first ODI while Sean Williams top scored with 42 runs. It'd be a very hard challenge for the hosts batters to take on the young Indian bowling attack. 

While the bowlers failed to take a single wicket in the first match, the bowlers performed quite well in the second ODI despite defending a lower total. Luke Jongwe picked up 2 wickets while Tanaka Chivanga, Victor Nyaucho and Sikandar Raza managed 1 wicket each. 

After a strong batting performance in the first ODI by Indian openers Shikhar Dhawan and Shubman Gill, captain KL Rahul promoted himself as an opener in the 2nd ODI ahead of Gill, and was dismissed in the 2nd over for 1 run. After India lost few quick wickets, Sanju Samson got a rare opportunity with the bat and smacked an unbeaten 43 runs to take India to victory in the 26th over. 

Indian bowlers have dominated Zimbabwe in both the ODIs. Deepak Chahar, the player of the match in 1st ODI, was replaced by Shardul Thakur in the 2nd ODI, who also grabbed 3 wickets. Rest of the bowlers - Mohammad Siraj, Prasidh Krishna, Axar Patel & Kuldeep Yadav have contributed and look formidable enough to set up a clean sweep for team India.
