South Africa captain Temba Bavuma won the toss and opted to bowl first against Pakistan in the series decider match. 

South Africa will be without its key players - Quinton de Kock, David Miller, Kagiso Rabada, Anrich Nortje, and Lungi Ngidi since they have gone to India for the IPL 2021. Apart from this, the hosts will be missing the services of Rassie Van der Dussen, who has been ruled out due to injury. 

Shadab Khan is also out for the next 4 weeks due to a toe injury.
