Suryakumar Yadav's 57 and Shreyas Iyer's quickfire 37 power India to 185/8 against England in the 4th T20I here at Narendra Modi Stadium.
After being put in to bat first, India had a good powerplay despite losing Rohit Sharma for 12. Coming at Number 3, Suryakumar got going from ball 1 as he smacked Jofra Archer for a six. India scored 45 in the powerplay.
The hosts lost quick wickets - KL Rahul and Virat Kohli after powerplay but Yadav continued to strike boundaries regularly to bring up his maiden fifty. Suryakumar was given out controversially as the umpires failed to interpret a dropped catch.
Shreyas Iyer then smacked 37 off 17 balls with the help of five fours and a six as India reached at 185 the end of 20 overs.
