After Zak Crawley (19) was dismissed by Abrar Ahmed on a team total of 38 runs, Ben Duckett and Ollie Pope got together to add 79 runs off 61 balls for the 2nd wicket. Duckett (63) was then dismissed after completing his half-century, and Pope (60) also completed his fifty.
Abrar Ahmed was in top form as he grabbed the first seven wickets, dismissing the entire English batters on his own. His partner Zahid Mahmood picked up the last wickets to bowl out the English team before Tea on Day 1.
