Amelia Kerr Stars In New Zealand's 3 Wicket Win Over India In 2nd ODI
Amelia Kerr's unbeaten 119 helped New Zealand defeat India by 3 wickets with six balls to spare in the 2nd ODI to take a 2-0 lead in the five-match series.
After opting to bat first, India posted a strong total - their highest against New Zealand - 270/6 through a collective batting performance. Mithali Raj top-scored with 66* while Richa Ghosh made 65.
In reply, New Zealand were reduced to 55/3 before Amelia Kerr and Maddy Green came to rescue and added 128 runs for the fourth wicket. Kerr went on to score a hundred after Green got out on 52.
Deepti Sharma led the Indian bowling with four wickets in her 10 overs.
