A resilient partnership between Hanuma Vihari and Ravichandran Ashwin help India draw the Sydney Test against Australia. The 62 runs partnership between the two came in a total of 259 balls.
Vihari faced 161 balls while struggling with a hamstring injury while Ashwin scored 39 from 128 balls. The two survived the final session of the play with a bit of luck when Vihari was dropped by Paine in the 123rd over.
Paine had a bad day with the gloves as he dropped three catches in total and two of Rishabh Pant, who went on to score 97 and putting India in a comfortable position. Cheteshwar Pujara too scored 77 in 205 balls.
