R Ashwin picked Olly Stone on the last ball before Tea to reduce England to 106/8 in the second session of day 2.  England still needs 23 to avoid the follow-on. 

India picked up four wickets in the second session and has entered England's tail. Visitors resumed the session on 39/4. 

Ben Stokes was removed by a beauty of a ball by Ashwin. Ollie Pope and Ben Foakes then paired to add 35 runs for the sixth and looked comfortable while out there. 

Mohammad Siraj on his very first ball of the match removed Pope caught behind by Pant who took a flying catch. Axar Patel got Moeen Ali to get his second wicket of the game.
