The second session of Day 2 belonged to India as they reduced Australia to 92/5 at Adelaide Oval. 

Ravichandran Ashwin troubled the batsmen consistently and took three wickets including that of Steve Smith, Travis Head, and Debutant Cameron Green.

Smith was set up beautifully by Ashwin who edged the ball to Ajinkya Rahane at slips while Head gave catching practice back to the bowler. A flying Virat Kohli at short mid-wicket ended the debutant Green's innings. 

Mohammed Shami bowled tough line and length which kept the batsmen guessing but was unlucky not to get into the wickets column. 

Marnus Labuchagne continued to ride his luck with a total of three opportunities dropped by Indians. Prithvi Shaw fumbled a regular catch when Labuchagne mistimed a pull to Square leg. He is currently playing at 46 along with captain Tim Paine.
