Australia is in a spot of bother after being two down for 35 runs at the end of the first session of Day 2 at Adelaide Oval.
After a slow and steady start to the innings by the two openers - Joe Burns and Mathew Wade. India got their first breakthrough in the form of Wade who was struck in front by a Jasprit Bumrah delivery in the 15th over. Burns too followed his opening partner back in a similar fashion in the next over of Bumrah. Marnus Labuschagne was given a life as Jasprit Bumrah dropped him at the boundary off Mohammed Shami's delivery.
Earlier in the day, India got bundled out for 244 runs within 23 minutes of the day's play. Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins cleaned up the last four wickets for just 11 runs of India's overnight score of 233/6. R Ashwin was out on the first ball of the day by Cummins.
Currently, Steve Smith and Marnus Labuchagne are at the crease trying to reconstruct the Australian innings.
Brief Score - 35/2 (Marnus Labuchagne - 16*; Jasprit Bumrah - 2/8)
