AUS vs SA 1st Test: At a bowling friendly Gabba pitch, Australian bowlers yet again put the hosts on top as they halt South Africa to 66/7 in second innings at Tea on Day 2.
After 15 wickets fell on Day 1, Australia were bowled out for 218 runs on Day 2 with a lead of 66 runs. When South Africa came out to bat again, bowlers yet again left the Proteas batters clueless.
Pacers Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins and Scott Boland grabbed 2 wickets each while Nathan Lyon registered 1 wicket to his name.
For South Africa, Temba Bavuma has been the top scorer in the 2nd innings with his knock of 29 runs, while Khaya Zondo (14*) and Keshav Maharaj are the only other South African batters to cross the double-digit mark in 2nd innings. Kagiso Rabada (1*) will continue the visitors' second innings along with Zondo after Tea.
Earlier, Australia captain Pat Cummins won the toss & opted to bowl first against South Africa in the 1st Test. This match is being played at The Gabba, Brisbane.
