AUS vs SA: At one of the greenest Gabba surface, South African batters looked clueless against the Australian bowling attack and have been bowled out for 152 runs within the first two sessions on Day 1. 

Veterans Mitchell Starc and Nathan Lyon grabbed three wickets each while captain Pat Cummins and young gun Scott Boland picked up 2 wickets each. 

Wicket-keeper batter Kyle Verrynne was the top scorer for the Proteas with 64 runs (4x8, 6x1). Temba Bavuma contributed with 38 runs, while Sarel Erwee and Kagiso Rabada scored 10 runs each. None of the other batters were able to reach the double-digit mark. 

Earlier, Australia captain Pat Cummins won the toss & opted to bowl first against South Africa in the 1st Test. This match is being played at The Gabba, Brisbane.
