Australia were in a spot of bother chasing 140 and were at 49/3 after 8.3 overs, but Josh Inglis 40(20) and Glenn Maxwell 48*(39) etched a partnership of 71 runs in 47 balls to pave the way for Australia's win. 

For Sri Lanka, Lahiru Kumara picked up two wickets while Maheesh Theekshana and Dushmantha Chameera picked up 1 wicket each, as Australia chased down the target in 18.1 overs with 6 wickets in hand.
