Bangladesh captain and opener Tamim Iqbal scored 62 runs while Liton Das smacked 81 runs before he was retired hurt. Anamul Haque, batting at #3, scored 73 runs while no. 4 batter Mushfiqur Rahim scored an unbeaten 52 runs to take the Bangladesh total across 300-run mark.
For Zimbabwe, bowlers failed to produce something substantial against the Bangla batters. Victor Nyauchi and Sikandar Raza grabbed 1 wicket each.
