Brisbane Heat's captain Chris Lynn's knock of 69 and Jack Wildermuth's cameo of 31 has helped the team to get to 178/6 in the first innings against Sydney Thunder at Manuka Oval, Canberra.

Lynn, after opting to bat first, came in to bat at number 3 after a quick start provided by the openers Max Bryant and Sam Heazlett. His innings included five sixes and three fours. 

Jack Wildermuth smacked fours sixes during his 10 ball 31 run cameo to push the team to a good total. 

For Thunder, Jonathan Cook was the pick of the bowlers as he picked up two wickets while giving 31 runs in his four overs.
