In recent developments, it has come to light on social media that Hardik Pandya has cleared his fitness test at NCA, which was asked for by the BCCI to clear the all-rounder for IPL 2022.
Hardik Pandya has been out of action since November 2021 and hasn't bowled properly in a game since July 2021. However, the 28-year old has passed the fitness test with a score of 17 on the 'Yo-Yo' test as well as bowled at a speed of 135 KMPH a number of times.
An explosive batter in the middle/lower middle order and a right-arm fast-medium bowler, Pandya was picked by Gujarat Titans ahead of IPL 2022 mega auction as their draft pick for a sum of Rs. 15 crores INR and will be captaining the side in the upcoming IPL 2022.
