The historic chase of 328 runs at the Gabba is looking in the vision of Indian batsmen as both India and Australia move into the final session of Day 5.
The session started with Shubhman Gill and Cheteshwar Pujara smacking Australian bowlers at will, especially Mitchell who conceded his most expensive over in Test Cricket - 20 runs.
Gill, who was looking solid to get to his maiden test century, edged a straight delivery from Nathan Lyon and got on 91. Pujara continued to score while also facing some hard body blows. Ajinkya Rahane, too, came in with an aggressive mindset during his 22-ball-24 which included a six and a four.
After Rahane, Rishabh Pant came to the crease and scored his 1000th run in Test Cricket.
Pujara(43*) and Pant(10*) are currently at the crease.
Brief Score: 183/3 in 63 overs (Shubhman Gill - 91; Pat Cummins - 2/22)
