Indian all-rounder Washington Sundar, who played an important role in India's famous victory down under in late 2020 and early 2021, has been tested positive for COVID-19.

Washington Sundar was named in India's ODI squad for the upcoming series against South Africa in South Africa and was supposed to leave for South Africa with the rest of the ODI contingent tomorrow (Wednesday January 11th).
