In the match between Chennai Super Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad, while batting first, David Warner, captain of SRH team, completed 10,000 runs in T20 cricket. The Australian left hander has achieved this feat in 303 T20 matches.

David Warner, also completed his 50^th fifty in IPL. Warner achieved this in the ongoing 23^rd match of the IPL 2021. Earlier,the SRH captain had won the toss and elected to bat first against CSK. The match is being played at Arun Jaitley Stadium, New Delhi.
