England captain Joe Root has won the toss and opted to bat first against New Zealand in the 2nd Test at Edgbaston.
New Zealand has made six changes in the playing XI, three being forced. Mitchell Santner, Kane Williamson, BJ Watling, Tim Southee, Kyle Jamieson, and Colin de Grandhomme are all being rested.
