The visitors chased down India's modest total of 124 with 27 balls to spare. Jason Roy led the chase with his 49 off 32 balls which included four fours and three sixes. Jonny Bairstow and Dawid Malan completed the chase with ease.
Earlier, India could only manage to score 124 courtesy of Shreyas Iyer's 67 after the top-order failed to provide a good start. He got a bit of support from Rishabh Pant, who made 21 from 23, and Hardik Pandya who scored 19.
Rest, none of the batters could manage to get into the double-figures - the highest being 7.
