A lightning-quick century from Jonny Bairstow helped England defeat New Zealand by five wickets to win the 2nd test match and take a 2-0 unassailable lead in the three-match series.
Chasing a target of 299, England was in a spot of bother after being 3/56 but Alex Lees (44) kept scoring from one end before Bairstow set off after the tea and smacked the second fastest test century by an England batter in 77 balls.
Bairstow got out after scoring 136 off 92 balls and captain Ben Stokes finished the run chase with his unbeaten.
England had a terrific all-round game where Joe Root (176) and Ollie Pope (145) kept them in the game after New Zealand had posted 553/10 courtesy of Daryl Mitchell's 190 and Tom Blundell's 106.
For the Kiwis, Trent Boult had a great test match where he picked up eight wickets including a fifer in the first inning.
