In the 15th match of Pool B in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015, Windies batters, particularly Chris Gayle and Marlon Samuels, took on the Zimbabwe bowling attack as West Indies thrashed posted a mammoth total of 372/2, and then went on to win the match by 73 runs via D/L method.
Chris Gayle was the standout performer as he thrashed 215 runs off just 147 balls with 10 fours and 16 sixes, and brought up the first ever double century in the World Cup history. Gayle completed his 200 off just 138 balls, and the Universe Boss brought yet another thunderstorm with his bat, at the age of 36.
