AUSW vs BANW: Leg spinner Georgia Wareham stepped up with the ball as her 3-fer helped Australia women restrict Bangladesh women to 107/7 in 20 overs in the 8th match of Women's T20 World Cup 2023.
Skipper Nigar Sultana was the lone ranger for her team as she etched the first-ever fifty by a Bangladesh woman in the T20 World Cup, scoring 57 runs off 50 balls with 7 fours & a six.
Apart from Sultana, Shorna Akter (12) was the only other batter who scored in double digits. Georgia Wareham was in top form as she picked up 3 wickets for just 20 runs in 4 overs. Darcie Brown registered 2/23 in 4 overs while Megan Schutt and Ashleigh Gardner managed 1 wicket each.
