England's young batter Harry Brooks defeated Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja and West Indies spinner Gudakesh Motie in a tight race to win the award.

On the other hand, Australian ace women allrounder Ashleigh Gardner snatches the glory from South Africa opener Laura Wolvaardt and England all-rounder Nat Sciver-Brunt to become the player of the month in the women's category.

Gardner was the player of the tournament in the recently concluded ICC Women's T20 World Cup which Australia won for the 6th time.

Harry Brooks on the other hand played a scintillating inning against New Zealand in the 1st test match. In the first inning, Brooks scored 89 runs in 81 balls and in the second match, he got 54 runs in 41 balls.
