Timely fifties from Wanindu Hasaranga and Pathum Nissanka help Sri Lanka score 171/7 against Ireland in 8th match of the T20 World Cup. 

After being put in to bat first, Sri Lanka were left struggling 8/3 inside two overs. However, Hasaranga and Nissanka Sri Lanka recovery as the duo added 123 runs from 82 balls for the fourth wicket. 

Hasaranga hit 71 from 47 balls while Nissanka scored 61 from 47 balls as Sri Lanka reached a competitive total of 171/7 in the first innings. 

For Ireland, Joshua Little picked four wickets, Mark Adair 2, and Paul Stirling one.
