Shivam Mavi was adjudged the man of the match for his excellent bowling performance - picking up 4 wickets for 21 runs in 3.1 overs. Mavi dismissed the opposition's best batter Samson on the first ball. He also picked up the wickets of Glenn Phillips, Shivam Dube & Rahul Tewatia.
After winning the award, the young Indian pacer said, "I feel really good to do well on this wicket. The plan was to bowl wicket to wicket and to not give room because of the low bounce. When I was playing under-19, you need to keep learning. I learnt how to use the slower ball, when to bowl the yorker, I have learnt a lot here at KKR. I liked Dube's wicket. Feels nice to get wicket LBW or bowled as a bowler."
