The inaugural season of the International League T20 is set to be played at three venues in UAE. Even though Sharjah has been a batters' paradise, the bowlers have oftentimes stepped up to exploit the conditions.
Sharjah will host their first ILT20 match on January 17th (Tuesday), where Moeen Ali-led Sharjah Warriors will clash against Kieron Pollard-led MI Emirates.

A total of 5 hat-tricks have been registered at Sharjah Cricket Stadium. Imran Tahir was the first bowler to do so as he registered a hat-trick for Multan Sultans against Quetta Gladiators in a PSL 2018 match.
Ben Cutting took a hat-trick for Kandahar Knights against Nangarhar Leopards in the same year in the Afghanistan Premier League match.
Mohammad Sami did a hat-trick in PSL 2019 match while playing for Islamabad United against Peshawar Zalmi.
The T20 World Cup 2021 saw two hat-tricks in Sharjah – Sri Lankan spinner Wanindu Hasaranga performed the first one against South Africa while the African pacer Kagiso Rabada did a hat-trick against England.
