The inaugural season of the International League T20 is set to be played at three venues in UAE. Sharjah has been an interesting and exciting venue for the batters, where they have smashed a lot of runs on their good days. 

Sharjah will host their first ILT20 match on January 17th (Tuesday), where Moeen Ali-led Sharjah Warriors will clash against Kieron Pollard-led MI Emirates.

127* – Colin Ingram holds the record for the highest individual score at Sharjah. The New Zealander scored an unbeaten 179 runs off 59 balls, laced with 12 fours and 8 sixes while chasing 187 runs for Karachi Kings against Quetta Gladiators in a PSL 2019 match. 

124 – Afghan batter Hazratullah Zazai scored 124 runs in 55 balls in an Afghanistan Premier League match in 2018. Batting against King Leopard, Zazai scored 124 runs in 55 balls with 12 fours and 9 sixes. 

118* – Afghanistan's explosive batter Mohammad Shehzad scored an unbeaten 118* runs with 10 fours & 8 sixes against Zimbabwe in 2016, which is the third-highest individual score in Sharjah.

10 – During his knock of 48-ball-80 runs for Balkh Legends in Afghanistan Premier League 2018, Universe Boss Chris Gayle smashed 10 sixes which is the most sixes by a batter in an inning in Sharjah. 

9 – Australian explosive all-rounder Glenn Maxwell smacked 9 sixes in his 95-run knock for Kings XI Punjab against Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2014. While representing Kabul Zwanan, Hazratullah Zazai also smacked 9 sixes during his century against King Leopard in Afghanistan Premier League 2018. 

Rajasthan Royals' captain Sanju Samson is also on the list with 9 sixes to his name against Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2020.
