New Zealand bowlers struck back with two wickets in the final 30 minutes of the morning session as India score 69/2 at Lunch on Day 2 of the WTC Final.
Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill started the innings well and shared a 62 run stand. The two played their shots and looked disciplined while leaving the ball.
Kyle Jamieson provided the much-needed breakthrough for New Zealand as Rohit edged one to the slips after scoring 34. Gill soon followed his opening partner as Neil Wagner drew an edge off the right-hander in the first over of his spell.
Virat Kohli and Cheteshwar Pujara are currently at the crease.
