India vs Sri Lanka: Team India continued their domination against Sri Lanka on the 2nd day of the first test match, and took 4 Sri Lankan wickets to end Day 2 with a first-inning lead of 466 runs.
Ravindra 'Rockstar' Jadeja remained the highlight of the day after scoring an unbeaten 175 runs and went on to pick a wicket in his very first over, that too of Lankan captain Dimuth Karunratne. Team India declared their first innings on 574/8 after playing out the first two sessions of the day.
In reply, Sri Lanka managed 108 on the board while they lost four wickets. Ravichandran Ashwin picked up 2 wickets while Jasprit Bumrah & Ravindra Jadeja picked up 1 wicket each.
Earlier, Indian captain Rohit Sharma won the toss & opted to bat first against Sri Lanka in the 1st test of the 2-match test series. This match is being played at Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium, Mohali.
