IND v WI: India restricted West Indies to 157/7 in the first innings of the 1st T20I at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.
On being asked to bat first, West Indies lost Brandon King in the first over. Windies kept on attacking and India kept picking wickets at regular intervals. Nicholas Pooran rotated the strike to keep one end in check. Pooran along with Kieron Pollard added 45 in 25 balls to help West Indies get past the 150-run mark.
Pooran top-scored with 61 off 43 balls as West Indies ended the innings at 157/7.
For India, debutant Ravi Bishnoi and Harshal Patel took two wickets each in their four overs, while Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Deepak Chahar, and Yuzvendra Chahal got one wicket each.
