IND vs AUS: Despite Usman Khawaja scoring his 20th Test fifty, Ravichandran Ashwin picked up 2 wickets in the first session as Australia scored 94/3 at the end of 1st session on day 1 of the 2nd Test. 

Australian opening pair, Usman Khawaja and David Warner fended off the first hour of play against pacers Mohammed Siraj and Mohammed Shami firing in. David Warner looked uncomfortable as he always had in Test matches in India, and ultimately became Shami's victim after facing 44 balls with 15 runs to show for it. 

Marnus Labuschagne then got in the middle and scored 18 runs, as Australia looked comfortable at 91/1. However, Ashwin decided to begin his hunt in the 23rd over, as he dismissed #1 & #2 Test batters, Marnus Labuschagne (18) and Steven Smith (0) in the same over. 

Usman Khawaja however maintained his composure and came back unbeaten on 50 runs after opening the innings. 

Earlier, Australia captain Pat Cummins won the toss & opted to bat first against India in the 2nd Test match of BGT 2022-23. This match is being played at Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi.
