IND VS AUS, Day 1: Kuhnemann's Maiden Fifer Restricts India To 109
IND VS AUS: The Australian team will now feel relief after Indian batting collapsed for 120 on day 1 of the third test.
For India, Virat Kohli with 22 made the highest number of runs for the team. The second-best came from the bat of Gill (21) for India.
Akshar Patel scored 12 in the end but Umesh Yadav smacked boundaries and took past India to 100 run mark.
However, the rest of the Indian batters looked ineffective in front of the Australian spin attack.
Matthew Kuhnemann grabbed a five-wicket-haul for 16 while Nathan Lyon clinched 3 off 35. Todd Murphy also bowled well and added 1 wicket to his account.
Scorecard:
India 1st Inning: 109/10 (Kohli- 22 runs; Matthew Kuhnemann- 5/16)
