Shubman batted for more than a day as he came to bat yesterday and scored his 2nd test hundred with style.
Gill came on to bat along with Rohit Sharma as an opener and thrashed 128 rund in 235 balls with 12 fours and 1 six. He first scored 74 runs stand with Rohit who fell off Matthew Kuhnemann while he has on 35.
Gill made 113 runs in partnership with Cheteshwar Pujara (42 runs) and also obtained 58 runs with Virat Kohli before nudging down on 128 runs.
However Indian team has a deep batting line-up but they still need 231 runs to get the lead over the Aussie side who scored massive 480 runs in the first inning after winning the toss.
