The exuberant knock from Kohli came afte the long wait of 3 years and 3 months when India was backing itself from the first-inning score of 480 from the Australian team.
Altogether, this is Kohli's 75 international ton which is the second highest in the world after Sachin Tendulkar.
Kohli came to the field after India lost Rohit and Pujara. He played some flashy shots and made himself comfortable in a tight batting wicket favoring the batters.
With this knock, India also crossed the 400-run mark in the second inning of the match.
Kohli is now batting with Axar Patel who came off to bat after the departure of Srikar Bharat (44 runs).
