IND vs AUS: After Rohit Sharma smacked his 9th Test ton, all-rounders Ravindra Jadeja and Axar Patel frustrated the Australian bowling as India posted 400/10 in the first innings. India have built a first-inning lead of 223 runs in the 1st Test at Nagpur.
Continuing on their overnight score of 321/7, India lost Ravindra Jadeja in the fifth over of the day as debutant Todd Murphy picked up his 6th wicket. Jadeja was dismissed after scoring 70 runs with 9 fours.
Axar Patel however kept going, and along with #10 Shami, etched a partnership of 52 runs. Shami became Murphy's 8th victim after scoring 37 runs in 47 balls with 3 sixes and 2 fours. Axar on the other scored valuable 84 runs, laced with 10 fours & a six.

For Australia, Murphy picked up 7 wickets while Pat Cummins grabbed 2 wickets. Nathan Lyon managed 1 wicket to his name.
