IND vs BAN: In the 1st Test between India and Bangladesh at Chattogram, courtesy of fifties by Cheteshwar Pujara, Shreyas Iyer and Ravichandran Ashwin, India posted 404/10 in the first innings.

After India were at 48/3 when Rishabh Pant arrived at the crease as he smacked 46 runs off 45 balls with 6 fours & 2 sixes. However, India were struggling at 112/4, when Cheteshwar Pujara and Shreyas Iyer added 149 runs for the 5th wicket. Pujara scored 90 runs while Iyer scored 86 runs. 

Ravichandran Ashwin also played a good hand with his 58 runs, as he etched a partnership of 87 runs for the 8th wicket with Kuldeep Yadav (40). For Bangladesh spinners, Taijul Islam and Mehidy Hasan Miraz picked up 4 wickets each while Eabdot Hossain and Khaled Ahmed managed 1 wicket each. 

Earlier, India captain KL Rahul won the toss & opted to bat first against Bangladesh in the 1st Test. This match is being played at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, Chattogram.
