IND vs BAN: After a mighty scare by Mehidy Hasan Miraz's 5-fer, Shreyas Iyer and Ravichandran Ashwin held their cool as they took India to an enthralling 3-wicket win against Bangladesh in the 2nd Test.
Continuing on the overnight score of 45/4, India needed 100 runs to win the match. Captain Shakib Al Hasan struck early, removing Jaydev Unadkat (13) on a team total of 56 runs. Rishabh Pant (9) & Axar Patel (34) were also dismissed early.
However, Shreyas Iyer came on to bat at #8 and along with Ravi Ashwin batting at #9, etched an unbeaten partnership of 71 runs for the 8th wicket to take India to a win.
While Ashwin smacked 42* runs laced with 4 fours & a six, Shreyas Iyer scored 29* runs with 4 boundaries. With this win, India have completed a 2-0 clean sweep in the 2-match series and have remained strong in their race to WTC Finals.
